Losing frame/ping on ProLiant DL380p Gen8 running linux with NC552SFP
We have two ProLiant DL380p Gen8 servers with (NC552SFP) emulex 10Gbit network cards.
The network cards are losing the connection, we cannot even ping the server.
Using several different version of Ubuntu, Suse, Fedora.
Changing the cables, move the cables to another slot does not help on the problem.
We have even contacted Emulex and filed a bug on the linux kernellist.
Emulax has not responded at all.
We gave upgraded/downgraded firmware.
Enabled/disabled advance mode on the nic.
If we are putting an intel 10Gbit card in the server, everything is working correct.
I am more or less giving up on this server....
Best regards
Søren Laursen
