Lost 2 Ports from 4 Ports of Broadcom Quad Ports NC382i Network Adapter

Hi,

I have DL380 G7 with ESXi 4.1 Update 1 installed on the system.

After 2 weeks running in production suddenly those 2 nic ports are missing from my ESXi.

I already installed new broadcom drivers from HP website but the ports are still not there.

Any clue would be helpful.

Can you check if they're still visible from BIOS? There is a PCI Devices option where they should be listed. Also, do the physical ports have a link LED?

Yes they are still visible in the BIOS since its an integrated NIC and only 2 ports are broken from 4 ports.

Yes there are still LED link goes up from those 2 ports.

But when I check under ESX console, ESX just detect 2 ports are available. At first arrive this machine report normally all nics has been detected, I just found this issue about a week ago.

I have 2 machines like this but only this machine has a problem and both are under esx platform.
