Lost login for iLO on HP DL585. how to reset?
Hello,
We've lost iLO default login tag. How we can reset iLO to no user/pass and still configure it?
Thank you,

Re: Lost login for iLO on HP DL585. how to reset?
Hm, I saw that link.
We run SUSE Linux and system is in bad shape so
extra installs are questionable at this point.
This was the reason why we decided to resort to iLO as an alternative to serial port in a first place.
Can we even install iLO without running OS and not having initial login tag? May be though hardware manipulation (switches??) in combination with a bios config ?
Any help would be appreciated at this point.

Re: Lost login for iLO on HP DL585. how to reset?
You have several choices, depending on whether or not you can power off the server and have physical access. With physical access you can either open the case and set the security override switch (noted on the inside of the top cover) or during POST select [F8] to go into iLO setup and edit the password.
Without physical access but with OS access, the 'hprsm' package needs to be loaded and then the HPONCFG utility can be used to change the configuration.
