M530 Display Corruption
Twin ML 530 Xeon 2.4 with NT4
After a period of approx 3-5 days the server screen display corrupts to the point that there are dots and dashes all over the screen and in particular in a band down the right hand side of the screen. The screen is not accessible and mouse and keyb will not work. However, the server continues to funcion as a server to the users.
After a period of approx 6 hours the server will lose all network connections and users will lose the connection to it. Nothing for it but a forced reboot. After that it is OK and we go through the process all over again. Nothing logged in the event viewers either.
Any ideas. Please !
PS: Ignore the Netshield message in the middle of the screen.

Re: M530 Display Corruption
If I did not know otherwise, I would think the video had RAM errors, this may be something you can discover with the bios tests (F10 Setup/System Partition Utilities). If you can take the system down for a while, run the system tests a few times.
Have you tried installing another video card in the server, bypassing the onboard controler?
