ML 150 G2: How to monitor temperature and fan speed on
I need to monitor internal temperature and fan speed on a Proliant ML 150 G2. Looked for software on HP web, but did not find. Also tried speedfan, which gives false results, and Motherboard Monitor, which caused the fan to speed up.

Hello, I believe you require a ML150G2 Lights Out 100 card to be able to read the sensor information.

Re: ML 150 G2: How to monitor temperature and fan speed on
No Support for the famous Insight Manager / Agents ? HP should rename these machines from "Proliant Server" into "HP Highend Workstation". Proliant Servers are well know for their managebility and their preventive monitoring, if these things are missing the brand "Proliant" is damaged in my point of view ...

Re: ML 150 G2: How to monitor temperature and fan speed on
Looks like I'll have to adjust speedfan parameters in order to get reliable results. If succesful, I'll post instructions here.
