ML 150 G2, windows 2003 maxed out CPU
Hello , i had to rebuild a server with Win2003. Last admin did not leave anything to read for the install or help.
It has the 4 port SATA RAID unit that came inside at purchase time. 3Gb of memory and a 3.2Ghz (1xcpu).
When i start the Windows install, it takes forever to install (2 hours) .When logged in Windows, i check the task manager or processes (ctrl+shift+esc) and the CPU is at 80% and more..always to the top. This is a fresh install of Windows 2003 R2 nothing else.
Got the latest BIOS rom from HP, and i even tried 2 different SATA RAID drivers just to be sure.
I do need help here because it's been 2 complete days without sleep trying to get this unit working.
many thnanks
