ML 150 G5 RAID Management software

Hello

I have a client with ML 150 G5, and I've not been able to find the RAID management software for it. In device manager the RAID is listed as LSI SAS 3000. I've tried the software on the HP download site but none of them detect the controller. The best I could do was install the event log notifier service.

Can anyone assist in getting the correct software to manage this card?

Hi Shayne,

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately this software does not detect the card installed. The controller supports both SAS and SATA disks in the unit, which rules out the embedded controller.

I've opened the case and found that there is a card installed into one of the slots on the motherboard which connect to the drive bays.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Had the same issue some time ago with a G3.
AndrewG found the solution and I've copied his post below. The link still works.
