ML 150 Installation on SATA DISK

i have a ML 150 and 1 Sata Disk. I want to install windows 2003. I boot the server with the operating cd and when it says to me: do you want to install windows - i press enter and then it shows me that there are no hard drives. I did the raid configuration but it gives me the same problem. I downloaded some utilities from hp site:

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/69_6075.html#10. but that problem keep telling me that windows did not found HDD.

Have you configured the disk in BIOS raid?

Re: ML 150 Installation on SATA DISK

Donload this driver:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22908.html

Format a floppy and load the drivers on it.

Insert the windows CD and boot from it.

At the begining of the installation you'll be prompted to press F6 to load the drivers for a SCSI controller or othe rcontrollers, press F6, insert the floppy, load the drivers and enjoy your server.

Re: ML 150 Installation on SATA DISK

I you are using the 4 Port sata controller, and if you wanna use only 1 drive... you wont be able to create a RAID 0, in this particular server the minimum amount of disks to create a RAID 0 is 2 HDD, (with the 4 port SATA controller) You'll have to disable the RAID from the BIOS...

Chill...
