ML 310 Power Supply
I have a Proliant ML 310 that needs a new power supply. After looking at a few websites I saw that you need to know what generation it is. Do they differ that much? I have no idea what generation it is and don't know where I can even find that out. Can anyone tell me where I could find that identifying information? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: ML 310 Power Supply
Hi,
There are 6 generations of ML310 ProLiant.
HP ProLiant ML310 Server
HP ProLiant ML310 G2 Server
HP ProLiant ML310 G3 Server
HP ProLiant ML310 G4 Server
HP ProLiant ML310 G5 Server
HP ProLiant ML310 G5p Server
The G badging will be seen on the front of the server. If there is no such information then its G1 server, for G2 above there is this badging.
Its better you remove the power supply unit and check the lable on the part. The spare part number ends with -001
For Example, ML310 first generation power supply part number is 292480-001
Thank You!
I am a HP employee

Re: ML 310 Power Supply
Thanks for your help! There is no "G" badge on the case at all so I assume it is a 1st gen. Now I just have to find one!
