ML-350 1. generation - RAID controler problem. Led diagnostic

I have problem with upgrading named server with raid controler IBM serveraid 4mx. Server is working good & the raid controler too, but not with eachother. When i plug 4mx in server boot process goes up to raid card self diagnostic (... going to selfdiagnostic, it wl take 3 minutes...) and it freezes. I tryed numerous thing (turning system devices off, switching slots, restarting, upgrading bios, firmware) But no help. Raid is working in normal PC in dell servers, INTEL servers.. etc. But no in this server.
One more question.. On system board near the PCI slots thera are two groups with 4 led's.. They are blinking (suspect that is post codes of some sorts.
When raid is in led no. d27 is on...
when i take raid out it looks diferent...
