ML 350 G2 Smart Start Error
Hi there,
I was trying to install a linux on ML 350 G2, but didn't get me to the right direction. After I have done some research, I found Smart Start would be the solution to install a linux on the box.
As a result, I got this error "This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU" when I tried the smart start, 8.60. I tried both x64, x86, but got the same error.
Any help? I am dying here... :(
or any other solution to install a linux on the machine?

Re: ML 350 G2 Smart Start Error
Hi,
I not sure about the operating system which you are trying to install.
I think you are trying install 64 bit os, this server has Intel Pentium III 32Bit processor... install 32bit operating system.
Also, refer the OS Certification from URL below:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/os/certification.html?var1=ML350 G2#d
software and driver downloas:
