ML 350 KVM from server to swipe card machine error
This is a strange one.
I have instald a ML 350 at a client site, the server worked fine until i moved the KVM box from the old server to the new server.
The server keyboard goes into the kvm, the kvm goes to the server keyboard port, 2 monitors and a swipe card machine. The swipe card machine is next to monitor number 2. A switch on the kvm switches between the swipe machine and the swipe monitor - remote to the server - or the standard keyboard and monitor at the server.
when in swipecard mode a card is swiped (using notepad to test) on the old server the card id swipes correctly, when connected to the new server all the digits from the swipe card are duplicated??
Any ideas??, i have altered the keyboard speeds from control panel, there is no change.
The kvm uses an AT to ps2 adapter to connect to the server.
I have tried 2 keyboards.
Regards
Andy

Re: ML 350 KVM from server to swipe card machine error
Hi Andy,
I've read your post a few times and can't get my head around how you've got things connected... any chance you could reexplain.
You might also want to include the details of the old server. Did that use the AT-PS2 adapter or is that something new to the setup ?
Cheers,
Rob
