ML 350 g4p
We ha have a raid 5 configuration with 3 hd and one spare, now we changed our configuration removing the spare disk and adding it self to the raid configuration.
So we want to have a raid 5 array with 4 hd and no spare.
We already did this operation but the system show a message like this: Background parity initialization is currently queued or in progress"...
it is in this state from 24 hours
shall i power off server?
should i be worried?

Re: ML 350 g4p
This process starts after you add new disk to an array. If you set "expand priority" to low it can take a long time.
You can power off your server, when it goes online, background process will continue.
