ML 350 g5 BSOD 0x7b Windows Server 2k3 r2 x64 mode recovery
Hello!
I have a server HP Proliant ml 350 g5 with a raid controller Smart array e200i 128 fw 1.86. I trying to restore in "mode recovery" OS Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 (pressing "R" after the concent of the licence agreement). I'm downloaded the driver for smart array e200i from the page http://h20566.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=1123563&swItemId=MTX_4c576b3ec8234efbbf901628b9&swEnvOid=1005. Unzipped files on the floppy disc and press F6 during the installation and install driver.
After copy the files server is rebooted, but when boot from the raid appears BSOD 0x0000007B (0xFFFFFADF5D6163C0,0xFFFFFFFFC0000034,0x0000000000000000,0x0000000000000000)
So, i tried driver from disc HP SmartStart v7.91, but it did not help, again BSOD.
Can anyone help me, please?
best regeards, alexander

Re: ML 350 g5 BSOD 0x7b Windows Server 2k3 r2 x64 mode recovery
Hi,
0x0000007B is usually related to Hard Disk and or Raid.
I would suggest to boot from HP SmartStart CD and perform Array Diagnostics and Insight Diagnostics and see if there is any issues with Hard Drive or Array Controller.
For more help, refer to these links:

Re: ML 350 g5 BSOD 0x7b Windows Server 2k3 r2 x64 mode recovery
Well.
Array has a hot-spare drive, i can turn it in the job instead of bad drive, without losing existing data on the array?
May be other options what to do next?

Re: ML 350 g5 BSOD 0x7b Windows Server 2k3 r2 x64 mode recovery
So, i pulled out the suspect drive (with s/n 3NP2JS62000098330CGT). During the POST i pressed F2 - "To fail drivers that are not responding - interim recovery mode will be enabled if configured for the fault tolerance".
Spare drive became active and i boot from disc Windows server 2003 r2 x64, load driver for e200i from the floppy disk, and launched mode recovery OS.
After copying files and boot from the raid controller i again got BSOD 0x7, with same parametres as in the first post.
What i can do to fix error? Help me, please!
Best regards, alexander
