Hi,

try the following
Invoke the ROMpaq Recovery Procedure by performing the following:
1) Set switches 1, 4, 5, and 6 on the server's Configuration Maintenance Switch Pack to the ON position
2) Boot the System ROMPaq diskette available for the specific model server.
3) Listen for two long beeps issued by the System indicating the procedure has begun
4) Listen for a sequence of ascending (increasing) tone beeps after flashing is complete
5) Check for a message in the IMD that will indicate a successful operation is completed (If equipped with one)
6) Power off the server and remove the System ROMPaq diskette.
7) Restore the Configuration Maintenance Switch Pack switches to their original positions.
8) Power up the server and observe for symptoms.

Apply a System ROM recovery with latest ROMpaq from
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/index.html

Thanks for wonderful help and response. Sunil jerath helped me and i downloaded just one rom paq and this solved my whole problem.
I had other problems that the boxes on which i was working were earlier linux boxes, so the drives were not getting recgnised that was also solved by me(thanks to god). so guys i am all set.
I am still having problems with my 5500 the question i have posted earlier.
I am working on this.

Good issu is resolved.
Since it was related rompaq
as which is part of alternate solution
