Hello, I am installing W2000 server on ML 370 G2, and I don´t know which drivers I must install for scsi hard drives, could you please help me with this problem,

you mean driver for the controller?

which controller do you have?
because if you have a smart array controller
you can use smartstart Cd to install windows 2000

I have tried booting with smartstart CD release 4.50 but the message: "This system is not supported by this version of SmartStart" is sent.

I also tried booting with W2000 CD ROM and then pressing F6 to install SCSI units, but the message: "Manufacturer-supplied hardware suppurt disk" is requested, How can I do to create this disk,

mmm think if you are trying to install using smartstart it's because you have a smart array controller? this one Smart Array 5i?

The array controller is 5i, if I create a CD with smartstart version 7.8, can I install W200 correctly?

Mariano if you want right in spanish?? are you from america right?

yes smartstart is a bootable CD when smartstart cd finishes loading (in the homepage) select maintenance server to deploy a RAID level

after that select deploy server and you're going to start to install W2000 using smartstart after that you're going to be asked to insert W2000 CD and to continue with Windows installation

I have just built 12 ML370 G2's using the SmartStart 7.8 CD. The iso file is availible on the 370G2 support page.

Installed Windows 2000 Server SP4 no problems !.
