ML 370 Remote Insight Board
I need help configuring a remote insight board on a Proliant ML370 running Win2k. The server was running NT4 and the RIB card ran w/o any problems. As soon as I started the upgrade to 2k, I lost functionality for the RIB.
I've downloaded and installed the RIB drivers from HP's site and device manager shows the card, but there are no options to configure the card. On NT4 there used to be a config utility in the control panel.
I've tried to update the firmware but keeping getting an error, unable to communicate ...
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: ML 370 Remote Insight Board
You can always configure the board via the F8 key during boot or connect to it via the browser. It depends on what you want to configure.
The control panel applet is not supported on W2K but can be installed from the Smartstart CD (just copy the applet files to the System32 folder).

A Proliant a day keeps the competition away!

Re: ML 370 Remote Insight Board
The problem is that after the upgrade to win2k the website doesn't work and more importantly I can't ping the IP assigned to the card. I will try the configuration via F8.
thank you.
