ML 370 g3 with win2ksp4 unexpected restart
Hi,
I have a server ML 370 G3 with windows 2000 server with sp4. The server having one cpu, RPS and smart array 6400 controller.
The server restarts unexpectadly three four times a day...no logs cretated other than event ID 6008 "the previous shut down was unexpected"...before restarts system freeze for while...

Is any error message u can see in System managemnt home page regarding the Hardware????

Hello... try disabling the ASR so that next time the server reboots you'll see the cause of the unexpected reboot.
Also try this ROM online UPDATE
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/21948.html
If after this the server is still rebooting go ahead and run a Offline Insigth Diags from SmartStar and run at least 2 loops.
