ML 530 upgd HD's in RAID
We have a ML 530 that has a RAID 5 with 3 18.6GB hard drives in it. As space is running low on these drives, I would like to know if we can hot swap the drives one at a time with larger ones and have the controler rebuild the data.
I know this method works with the same size drives but not for sure if it would with say 36 or 72GB drives.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
SCOTT

Yes sir Scott. That is exactly correct. You can use any capacity available, which the largest now is 300GB.
Hot Swap Hard Drives
