I have installed Linux red hat mirorred on 2 disk. I want to change position of second disk. How to do it ????

Hi,

As per the query are you using software mirrining or Hardware raid. When you are refering to changing the position of hdd, are you refering to changing the slot.

Hi,

In that case Proliant server support roming (but you raid should be healthy. then you can move both hdd from 0-1 slot to 2-3 without any problem when you do that server should be off. When you restart it will show the information regarding the roming and will continue with that.

Hi Lubo,

As you have hardware raid in the server.You can change the 2nd hdd position from any of the slots ( 3rd or 4th) after shutting down the server. Now when server boots you will get messege about hdd position which is changed.
