Hello Can someone please help. We are getting the following warning in system event log.

Event id:49
Source: CPQTeamMP

GSOSQL01-TEAM-NIC: PROBLEM: This Teaming Miniport-Edge Configuration Parameters section of the Registry is either missing the SecondNetworkAddress Parameter, or the Parameter is unreadable. Setting value to Second burned-in address.. ACTION: No action is required if the Default behavior is acceptable. Otherwise, reconfigure the SecondNetworkAddress value.

The server is running 8.55.0.10 of hp config utility. and is running psp version 7.70

I get the same error with a DL380 G5 & a DL360 G5 both fresh installs with WIN2K3x64(SP2). I have the latest PSP (7.70) plus i've upgraded to:

HP NC-Series Multifunction Driver for Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions Version 3.0.70

HP Network Configuration Utility for Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions Version 8.60.0.0

Any help appreciated.

I have the same problem.
BL 465c G1 Win2K3x64 R2 SP2

I run HP NCU 8.60.0.11 & installed HP NC-Series Multifunction Driver for Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions V 3.0.7.0

I first used HP NCU 8.55.0.11 & the drivers from PSP 7.70 and had the same problems.

I've red the post of dan2000 he claimed the problem dissapears after dissolve and reteam.

My problem still exists.

This is an production cluster in development. So the load isn't very much. The events show up when the cluster resource switches to another node. The messages are on the first node.

I also receive the folowing events.

"A non-Primary Network Link is not receiving. Receive-path validation has been enabled for this Team by selecting the Enable receive-path validation Heartbeat Setting."

"A previously failed Network Link's receive status has been restored."

Oops that wasn't right the event occurs when the server boots.

I managed to get rid of the other warnings now. (use access ports now, so vlan tagging is off) I Still have this message.

I have this same exact problem on 3 servers, does anyone have a fix or any ideas?
