Hi,
I do have the following strange behaviour on all of our ML110 Servers with a E200 Controller in it. When we install the HP Storage Manager it tells me that, "no controllers were found in this system". But there is a controller in that system. Can anyone help me with this issue?
Here are some informations about the versions:
E200 Driver: 6.8.0.32
HP Storage Manager: 5.01.00 (16864)
I would like to use the Storage Manager to get some informations when something is wrong with the controller. Is there another possibility to achieve this?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Kind regards,
Patrick.

Re: ML110 - E200 Controller - Storage Manager "no controllers..."
Hi,
Storage manager is not for e200.
Because E200 is a smart array controller, you have to download HP Array Configuration Utility.

Re: ML110 - E200 Controller - Storage Manager "no controllers..."
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. So how can I survey the Controller? Is there a way to get informations when the controller finds out that one of the harddisks has an error?
Thanks.
Regards,
Patrick.

Hi,
The HP Smart Array SAS/SATA Event Notification Service provides event notification to the Windows Server 2003 system event log and the HP ProLiant Integrated Management Log for systems using the HP Smart Array SAS/SATA controller driver.
