I am setting up a new ML110 w/sata and 2 160GB Hard disks. I configured the drives and build/verify. The drives are there, lights are lit, etc. When I try to install SBS 2003 R2, Windows cannot see the drives. Did I miss something?
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Hi,
You're missing loading the SATA controller drivers by pressing F6 when the installation begins.. pay attention to the bottom of the blue screen once the installation begins...
or
Did you get a "press S" to select a driver when the installation prompts that there are no drives?
You will need a floppy drives to load the drivers from, if the server doesn't have one, borow one form a PC or get a USB one..
Important: You have to perform a COMPLETE format on teh floppy you're using.
Well, the driver the driver can be one of the following depending on the SATA controlelr you're using..
(Pay attention to the OS)
HP Embedded SATA RAID Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003 (1st option)

HP U320 SCSI Adapter and SAS/SATA HBA with RAID Driver for Windows 2000
