Still a joke that this is such an issue in the first place.

I wasted about 2 days before i finally got this to work via unattended install. Time i could not charge the client because of HP's incompetence.

Hello,

We need just RE-FORMATTE your diskette and copy over the driver files again.
This problem is because certain brand diskettes that are pre-formatted by the diskette manufacturer.

I have same problem. I don't want to used USB FDD. I want to used thumb drive instaed of USB FDD but not work.

I tried the USB approach but as someone has already mentioned its the time and cost involved, as there was no usb floppy available and to save time we have done an unattended install.

Not sure why anyone would shy away from this, after all we are all here to make money and time is money.

For a quick and easy unattended install download http://www.nliteos.com/ nlite, choose your source disk, choose unattended and select the additional drivers, point to the RAID drivers and click build. then all you need to do is burn the resulting ISO to disk, pop it in the server and hey presto.

I've tray the solution of studio54 but I've a samsung usb floppy and thi solutino dosen't work

so I've make a modified boot cd with the solution of chris harrison uk2
and now the installation start correctly

I'm very disappoint with HP a floppy drive in a server isen't a cost that HP can't support!!!

Hi, everyone

Try this:

1 - Rownload the correct latest drivers for your controller.

2 - Re formatt floppy disk.

3 - Use manual installation and start pressing F6 before the installation process prompts you. Dont forget this!

4 - Instal PSP after windows installation.

I have tried it with a USB key AND a USB floppy drive.
But that doesn't seems to work, it only access the USB key.
Is there any other trick besides the unattended method
