ML110 G3 Red LED's - external or internal?

I powered up my server today after having it turned off for about 7 days. All seemed normal for about 5 mins - then server failed.
At first, the The LED above the light globe symbol was green, then flashing red. I'm trying to confirm whether this is the external health (my first guess) or internal health LED but can't locate this in any of the documentation I have. Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Thanks Karlo. It's the power LED that's flashing Red - I've tried connecting with two different powercords that work on other hardware on two different power outlets that work ok with other hardware...so that exhausts my options (you may have twigged my tech skills are limited) I'll start hunting for a technician that's open at this time of year.

Contacted HP to order new power supply.
