ML110 G3 fan noise

I have a new ML110 G3 and the fan sounds like an airplane revving up! Is there a solution and are others having this problem?

Take out any boards that you may have installed and check again. This includes Memory modules.

The fan noise should stop within 5 seconds of first switchon, during self-test.

If the fan noise does not stop, contact HP support.

If the fan noise stops, replace the boards and modules one by one until you find the offending item.

Before replacing any parts, try updating the system ROM.
