ML110 G4 Keyboard and mouse dead
I've had two new ML110 G4 servers exhibiting the same symptoms during installation of SBS 2003 in the past few weeks. On reboot and Windows Server 2003 starting the mouse and keyboard are dead. I have to shutdown the server, remove power then start up again. It only seems to happen once Windows starts. The keyboard is functional during POST.

Re: ML110 G4 Keyboard and mouse dead
Are you using a KVM or are they directly connected? This sounds like a driver problem, but I suspect a possible problem with a KVM.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: ML110 G4 Keyboard and mouse dead
I did try a KVM but I couldn't get it to work at all so I have been using the supplied keyboard and mouse both PS2 connected directly and it was working for days but I've had other installation problems, not related, and have reinstalled the OS a couple of times. Since posting this morning I haven't been able to get them to work at all so I tried a USB keyboard and USB mouse and they work perfectly. I'll try going back to the PS2 one's and see what happens but I might have to stick with the USB ones for now.
