Re: ML110 G5 System Fan LOUD
After 4 calls (to 4 different numbers), they say that there is some quality problems on delivery procedure. Quality problem? What does it mean? Ahhhhh maybe they are using a brand new ML 110 as server in the same room as the workstation, and users are sleeping for the low noise....
I think that the next server will not be an HP.

Re: ML110 G5 System Fan LOUD
Running with Win XP Pro. Tried every update and system tool, with no effect! Sent a mail to HP Support. I'm also from Switzerland. I hope there will be a solution soon!

Re: ML110 G5 System Fan LOUD
I've changed both and the problem was solved. Before the CPU was about 46├В┬░c, now is 39├В┬░C.
System fan is running on 2940 RPM, and CPU fan is running on 2645 RPM.
If you have this problem and the support desk suggest you only to change the FAN, simply say that you want to change also the CPU... I think that the problem is on the CPU and not on the FAN.
46├В┬░C CPU Serial: Q824A335
39├В┬░C CPU Serial: Q811A388
I hope this will help.
Bye
