ML110 G6 doesn't power on after a thermal paste change
Hi Guys,
I have an ML110 G6 working hard since 5 years. During on-dutty maintenance, this time, I decided to change the thermal paste of CPU and bridge chipset.
But when I put back everything on its place, my surprise: the server doesn't start even to spin fans.
I'm sure I did not damage any phisical component and I tested the power supply unit, it's ok.
When I plug in the power cord, standby led brights and BMC led starts to blink however, when I press the power on button (on the front, beside the usual orange light) it does nothing!!!
There's no movement of fans, no beeps no anything, I'm now desesperated.
I removed all excep cpu & tried -> nothing. Reset CMOS via motherboard switch didn't work either.
Could be any other operatin that I need to perform to power it up?
Thanks in advance for your comments.
Kr,
