ML110 G7 at 1920x1080
Hi
I'm currently in the process of setting up a ML110 G7 and I have it attached to a 1920x1080 monitor. At this resolution I'm getting artifacts on the screen. This is mostly 'speckles' moving across the edges of windows but on a solid grey background also displays strange 'coffee bean' like artifacts. Is this down to faulty hardware or is this resolution simply not supported? Dropping down to 1440x900 removes the issue but obviously looks horrible as a non native resolution.
I've tried both windows 2008 R2 & server 2012 both with the same result.
Thanks in advance
Kyle

Re: ML110 G7 at 1920x1080
From the Quickspecs listing
Integrated Matrox G200eH, 16MB video standard
- 16 bit color: maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200
- 32 bit color: maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024
NOTE: iLO Remote Console is operational in all video mode and color depths. Remote Console viewing displays 15bpp or 32768 colors.
NOTE: The resolution and frequency limitations of the attached monitor will further limit the combinations of resolution and depth.

Re: ML110 G7 at 1920x1080
Thanks Jimmy
Can't see an obvious way to drop to 16bpp in 2012 but tried 1920x1080x16 in 2008 which is lower than spec but the problem persists. Still want to ensure i'm not missing any bios setting or similar before i start asking for an RMA.
Thanks
Kyle
