ML110 G7 does not power on after accidentally removing case fan when powered on
after that, the os initiated shutdown
when I press the power button, it does/sounds like this:

I tried removing the cmos battery, turn system maintenance switch #6 to on, keeping the server overnight with power cord unplugged, disconnected all peripherals except cpu and memory.
all fans rotate briefly when I press the power button (including the psu fan)

Re: ML110 G7 does not power on after accidentally removing case fan when powered on
The very brief power on is indicative that the power supply senses a short and is shutting itself off. Remedy is probably a system board replacememnt
