ML110 G7, fans go on full, no VGA out or HD activity
After suffering a powower outage, my "trusty" ML110 G7 has a problem, it won't boot :-(
When I connect power to it, the fans come on at full blast, but nothing further happens, no VGA output, no disk activity, and the NIC does not show link.
No response to the power button, even if held in for 9 seconds, the only way to make the noise stop is to pull the power again.
I have tried removing the CMOS battery for 10 minutes and powering up, but no joy.
It is/was my home test box for hyper-v, so no carepaq on it and it is out of warranty.
Is it time to replace it ?
Cheers

Re: ML110 G7, fans go on full, no VGA out or HD activity
If it's just a test box, then strip it down to bare minimum hardware and see if it will post. In addition you can try clearing the NVRAM (system maintenance switch 6).
