ML110 - can't install windows (blue setup freezes)
Hi,
I'm trying to install ML110 G3 series, but the system freezes in blue setup part (dos like).
I have USB diskette drive and the drivers for SATA. If I press F6 or not the setup freezes before it should show the drive properties where I can format,.. etx.
I did do a firmware upgrade and it was successful.
Any hints what I could try.
P.S: I plugged the drives in another computer and they looked ok, if I use DOS disckette and format to FAT32 the drive is seen.
There are 2 drives, raid is not connected and I also phisically disconnected one drive.

Re: ML110 - can't install windows (blue setup freezes)
Hi Surfer,
try this
Go into the BIOS, Disable the USB 2.0, Reboot the server, Go into the BIOS again and under advanced options, change the USB settings from AUTO to Force Floppy.
good luck :)

Re: ML110 - can't install windows (blue setup freezes)
Thanks for your help, but it still doesn't work. Even if I don't use floppy the blue setup freezes. When I'm looking back I do thing this happened after I changed the firmware.
Any new hints?
Thanks
Dave
