ML110G5 Windows Server 2008 x64 RAID

I need to install Windows Server 2008 preferably x64 edition to a new ML110G5 server. The RAID array is configured but no driver I find on HP will be accepted by the installation process.

I have several HP "Packages" but cannot extract the drivers out of them.

Please help!

Hi dms,

Thanks for your quick response. Once I've downloaded the .exe file in your link provided how can I extract the driver file from it to use in Windows setup.

Thanks in advance

Create a driver disk by extracting the contents of the Smart Component to a floppy diskette (simply extract the files with right click from the self extracting .exe and copy them to a floppy disk)

The problem is I can't right-click the file and choose Extract - I only have "Open" "Run As" and "Send To". When I press the Extract button nothing appears in the folder I specify.

Try installing WinRar :)

Got it: I was trying to extract to a network drive - choosing a local drive and the extraction worked first time.

Thanks for all your help.
