ML110G6 alert on RAID degradation
I have a ML110G6 server (2008R2 Foundation) with a B110i SATA mirroring RAID 0+1 250GB plus a spare 250GB. Before to place in work my server I tryed the RAID, I have disconnected one disk, and it started the rebuilt phase of RAID. All right, I can work during rebuilt, but is it possible to know that there is a degradation of RAID? As is possible for server send to user a message about the degradation? I will want even just receive a little message, alert (for example in system tray) than I will looking for the problem, but I will want a little signal of the RAID degradation.
I thank you about time spend for my problem, I thanks in advance,
Edoardo
