ML115 G1 insists on booting from USB drive

Hi

Does anyone know, please, how to stop a Proliant ML 115 trying to boot from an attached USB removable disk drive. The operating system boot is an NVidia RAID array.

Whatever one does in Setup, eg disable removable devices from Boot, move removable devices down the priority, nothing makes any difference. If the USB drive is attached, it just boots to a blank screen with blinking cursor. Not even an Operating System Not Found message.

The BIOS is the latest published on the HP Support site.

Many thanks, Jim

Can you try disabling "Legacy USB Support" or similar options ? that should be enough to prevent the system from booting from USB.

Thanks for the info. But we still need to be able to use the USB - will that be possible if Legacy USB support is disabled? Thank you.
