ML115 memory
I was looking at upgrading the memory today and CPU-Z reports the memory speed to be 333MHz despite the presence of four 512MB PC2-5300 sticks of memory.
Is there actually an option to throttle the memory speed or do we have defective ram?

Re: ML115 memory
ML115 G1 server supports up to 8GB DDR II 667/800 unbuffered ECC DIMMs in 512 MB, 1 GB or 2 GB configuration.
Ensure that all memory is of same config and you can try installing a single module to isolate.
If the server is reporting to be 333MHz even at the POST, the BIOS should be updated.

Srinivas S

Re: ML115 memory
There's nothing wrong with your server or with the RAM - 333MHz is the correct speed for PC2-5300 RAM.

Re: ML115 memory
I would like to be able to test it but the server in question is currently mission critical.
