Trying to install sbs2008std*64 with the easy set up cd.
"Please specify the operating system flat file directory" - What to type in here?

try to install it directly from Microsoft DVD.

Sorry, no luck..
This is at the screen
"Windows is loading files"

Then a DOS window (X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe-startnet.cmd)
With this content:

X:\windows\system32>wpeinit
Then
X:\windows\system32>c:\hpssbem.exe

Then a msgbox(hpssbem) "The input datafile(hpssbem.ini) could not be found"

try with under 4GB dimms and only 2 sticks

see what happens if it installs update firmware and add rest of ram /sticks

Try to use another Win2008 setup DVD. Probably it's broken or have errors. (if you download iso-file from Microsoft). Also use HP SmartStart CD v8.30.

HP SmartStart CD v8.30 doesn't seems to support this server...
