ML150 G2 RAM Issue

Server will not POST with 4 2gb pieces of RAM.
Each piece is 2GB, 333MHz, DDR333 PC2700, 184p DIMM, ECC, Registered, 2.5v. If I put the 512meg pieces back in it will POST and boot with no problem. I have the latest BIOS installed also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can the server boot, if you install two 2Gb modules in slot 1 and 2? And with other 2 modules?

No, I have tried that and also with 2 - 512 in slot 1 & 2 and 2 - 2gb in 3 & 4, I have tried with 1 - 2gb in slot 1 also...no luck. The 2gb sticks are brand new also and ordered specifically for this machine.

Please post P/N printed on 2G memory sticks. Can you check/test these modules in another server?

The memory is from The Memory Place, 2GB-333MHz DDR333 PC2700, 184p DIMM, 2.5v, Sync, CL=2.5, Registered, ECC - Our P/N: 8179ECCR.

ML150 G2 Server memory configuration guidelines:
> DIMMs must be industry-standard 184-pin PC2700 333-MHz DDR registered ECC memory DIMMs only.
> The DDR memory DIMMs must support CAS Latency 2, CL=2 or greater.
> They must also contain the mandatory Joint Electronic Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) Serial Presence Detect (SPD) information.

You are using "2GB-333MHz DDR333 PC2700, 184p DIMM, 2.5v, Sync, CL=2.5, Registered, ECC"

It seems to be correct specification but I doubt your memory meets the last condition which is JEDEC SPD.
