Re: ML150 G2 server really slow

I installed the update but it didn't fix it.

Anything I can run that would check if all the hardware are running the latest version of their firmware?

I suggest checking the terminator on the scsi-bus.

Re: ML150 G2 server really slow

Hi Simon,

Is it possible for you to try using a Linux Live CD that runs (can run) entirely from the memory, eliminating the need to use the hard disk(s). If the server is still slow, then we can safely rule out issue with hard drive / controller, backplane / cables.

There are many Live CDs like Knoppix, System Rescue CD, Slax. Try any, some may not be able to run off the RAM, but running without hard drives should give you an indication anyway.

Cheers!
