ML150 G3 Fan Speed

Hi all,

I have been trying to locate some info on fan speed for the ML150 G3, I managed to find some for other models though!

My issue is that I recently picked up an ML150 G3, before I upgraded the BMC (Bios was already updated) the fans would run flat out as soon as you started the server, now they start off flat out and then go quiet for around 5 seconds as normal. The only issue now is that after that 5 seconds they speed up again!

Is there something that I am missing or could there be a hardware issue?

Install the last PSP, normaly its a problem of drivers.

try to upgrade all driver whit PSP.

Only issue is that I spoke to someone from HP and they told me to downgrade both the Bios and BMC until I could see if the problem corrected itself! I did this however I must have gone back too far and for some reason it will no longer boot!

I don't think it was a driver issue as I have set several of these servers up in the past and they all slow the fans prior to the HP Bios screen!

So looks like I have some parts to sell!

I'm sorry ....

I have this problem whit linux OS and intalling the drivers run fine!
