ML150 G3 SLES 10.3 adding JBOD to RAID

I've got 2.5 TB on the optional HP SAS/SATA RAID controller in my G3. I need to add 2 TB more, just as JBOD.

Can I use the embedded SATA controller for this?

If so, how can I set things up so that the drives don't mingle?

I'd like to keep the RAID drives as sda - sdd, with the JBOD drives as sde and sdf.

Can anyone help on this?
