Hi Guys,
We have an HP Proliant Server ML150 G3 with an 8-port SAS controller and two 250GB SATA Disks, running Microsoft Server W2K3. We have an OEM PC running Microsoft Server W2K3 too, used as a backup server.
In the ML server is a folder named "backup", when we try to copy this folder from the ML to the PC, eventually the ML crashes with a Blue Screen referring to lsi_sas driver.
We have had the HP Support Channel personel and they have replaced the SAS controller and two HDD, but the problem has not been solved yet.
Did anyone of you have the same or similar problem?
Does anyone have a recommendation for a solution to this issue?
Thanks,
Javier

Hi,
things you can do , if haven't done already are :
Controller driver update
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1163831&swItem=MTX-54acb37beff04f1b97ec1b7792&prodNameId=3279687&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=5
And then the MS storport driver:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946448/en-us
Especially if the bluescreen is with Stop Code 0x000000D1 ....
Regards

Re: ML150 G3 Win2K3 8-port SAS Problem copy to another server
It was a hardware problem.
