ML150 G5 - Fan remains at high speed

ML150 G5 - Fan remains at high speed

I just upgraded the BIOS to the 2009.10.30 version in order to solve a problem with boot hang with a USB disk attached. Now the Fan, excessively noisy, is stuck on high speed at all times.

Any ideas?

Whew... the noise was driving my tension level through the roof.
