ML150 G6 Standby Mode; Amber Light On
On random occasions the Server goes into System Standby Mode with the Amber Light On - only way to override is to pull plugs at back and hard reboot machine.
ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO AVOID THIS PROBLEM OR GET THE SYSTEM OUT OF STANDBY W/O REBOOTING?
PLEASE HELP!

Re: ML150 G6 Standby Mode; Amber Light On
Hi,
Ramdomly goes into Standby?
Is the operating system that is taking the server into Standby or is it the hardware itself.
What is the operating system in this server?
For example in Windows 2008 you can disable Standby by going into Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Power Options, then just set the computer to sleep attribute to never.
Good Luck!
Thank You!
