ML150 SATA Controller
Our ML150 came with the 4 port SATA controller installed. We want to install the optional 6 port controller. Can we reuse the 4 port cable? If so how do the Activity cabls connect from the backplane to the 6 port card? Or aren't they used with the 6 port. And the IC2 cable is used instead?

Re: ML150 SATA Controller
Yes you can use the original SATA cables. Do not use the activity cables that the 4 port card uses. Use the i2c cable instead that is provided with the 6 port card. Here is a link to where it plugs into the SATA backplane http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=PSD_CN0713W
If you need cables for the other two slots here is the option kit part number for the cables. 379093-B21 I pulled this from the Quick specs options section located here http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12092_div/12092_div.html#Options
