ML150 and 6 Port Sata Raid Controller
Hi, I am setting up a ML150 with 6 port sata raid cntlr.
The server seems to have had the original 4 port card and then the 6 port card added later. with both cards, the 6 port was not detected as all in POST. i had to pull the 4 port to get ti detected.
my question is, the 6 port has a 12C connector. i can't see to find a 12C connector on the m/b for the ML150 G2. i looked in the maluals as well. And i can't see any mention. as I mossing something???
Can I leave the connector out? Will HP storage manager software and the LED's on the hot swapp drivers still work?
Replies & help appreciated.

Re: ML150 and 6 Port Sata Raid Controller
Install I2C cable to connector marked as J516 on the ML150 G2 backplane.
Make sure pin 1 on backplane is aligned with pin 1 on I2C cable.
Cheers
Michael
