ML150 serial number

Hi everybody,

Recently I installed 30 ml150 servers, but I forgot take note about each one serial numbers. How can I retrieve those serial numbers remote way?.

i dont think its possible to get Sr. no remotely.

can you try systeminfo command which will show you product id and other info, but i belive it will not show you sr no.

I know that you can get the serial number through HP Insight Diagnostics Online Edition but I'm not sure that the software is compatible with the ML150. I think the G5 shipped with the Offline Edition. I'm guessing that would hardly help you retrieve the sn in a "remote way".

If you don't mind loggin in to all the servers you should be able to run the "wmic csproduct list" command in CMD..

You can do it all from yours pc if you will use PsTools- http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896649.aspx
It will give you the ability to connect to the server's cmd and run commends on it local cmd from yours pc
