My ML150G2 has recently started running with one channel of the CPU at 100%. The other channel is at idle most of the time.
The System Idle Process runs at around 65-75 while System process is showing 25-35. Can anyone help me diagnose what might be causing this anomally?
It's running SBS2003 1 x X3.0 & 2 x 512MB RAM

Solution
No it is not normal.
Definitly a driver problem.
Have you updated all the system drivers?
Have you updates all firmware to the latest version?
You can find them on:

Goodluck, let me know.

Re: ML150G2 "System" process causing CPU to run at 100%
Thnx TV
After posting this message last night I remebered that I'd installed HP Power Manager for the HP T700 UPS as the last isoftware item during the setup of SBS.
An uninstall of this software and a restart fixed the problem. Will have another go at installing this software and see if the problem returns.
Cheers
