ML150G5 Lockup Problem
A have an issue with a brand new ML 150G5 which is locking up after approx two days of work. The server is running Windows 2008 x64 an d a Hyper-V with 4 VM (W2k3 & W2k8).After the lockup we have a blank screen and the front led is blinking red.I've also observed that both CPU led's (Not mentioned in the M&SG)on the mainboard are shining Red.Since now the motherboard and CPU 0 had beed replaced without any change.
The configuration follows :
HP ML150G5 E5405 1P SP6748GO Server
Product # 470064-709
Dual XEON E5405 x2
6GB of Memory (2x2GB+2x1GB)
LSI/HP SC40GE SATA/SAS Controller
3 x SATA Drives
The W2K8 system log shows no errors before any of those hungups but the BMC hardware log does :

Re: ML150G5 Lockup Problem
The ML150G5 has an embedded BMC controller accesible form RBSU advanced menu.
I have copied all the entries directly from there.
Warm regards

Re: ML150G5 Lockup Problem
you say CPU 0 has been replaced? why only 1 proc? only one proc has red LED when server locks up or both?
are you running with only the replaced proc now?
bye
